Sarah Taylor is the Broker-Owner of Local Exposure Realty
In the office by appointment
Sarah is a Florida native and a homeowner in the Southbend neighborhood of Port St. Lucie. She and her husband have two young children and are enjoying experiencing all that the Treasure Coast has to offer from the perspective of family life.
Sarah began her real estate career in 2008 and worked diligently to build her business before taking time to slow down for a few years to savor time at home with her children. The desire to own her own brokerage had always been there as she enjoys marketing, making connections, and doing business with her own creativity. So after the kids started preschool Sarah opened Local Exposure Realty to showcase her unique approach to working in the Port St. Lucie real estate market.
Sarah’s experience and involvement
Prior to opening Local Exposure Realty in 2022, Sarah was with a local RE/MAX franchise since 2oo8, the beginning of her real estate career. She became licensed when the market collapsed during the Great Recession and learned to work with all the distressed foreclosure and short sale properties. She and her husband manage a portfolio of rental properties and can speak from investor experience on the landlord/tenant perspective.
Sarah has held leadership positions with the local, state, and national boards of Realtors® as well as the chairman seat for the City of Port St Lucie’s Keep PSL Beautiful committee. She’s also a graduate of the St. Lucie Chamber of Commerce’s 2011 leadership program, investing in knowledge about our local history, culture, and economy.
Who waits for the library to open on Tuesday mornings so that she can pick up a book she placed on hold? This girl!
Sarah loves to read about Florida history, inspirational titles, and repeatedly borrows recipe books. (Seriously, check out the cookbook section at the Rosser branch library).
Sarah grew up tent camping with her family from places as far away as the Grand Canyon to the NY Adirondacks.
But as an adult she prefers camping with her family of four in their Airstream in Florida State Parks. Recent favorite campground: Lake Louisa State Park for the trails and lakefront beach.
Gardening around the yard, affectionately dubbed “yardening,” is one activity Sarah’s family gets lost doing for hours on end. Their latest project was a brick paved pathway on their side yard with a turf playground for the kids. Sarah took the UF Master Gardener class back in 2012.
A key piece of the home sale process is finding the right Realtor® to help you through the transaction.
You will build a relationship with your agent and it’s important to work with someone you can trust and who has good communication.
At Local Exposure Realty we take these relationships seriously and know that you are about to embark on one of the most important financial decisions of your life.
