Supplements: OPPORTUNITIES AT EL COCAL El Cocal offers the opportunity to develop the Eco tourism in an unspoiled rain forest, miles and miles of ocean beaches and a very active coconut plantation (Coconut production is aprox 220,000 coconuts per month). El Cocal's land stretches for 33 miles along the Atlantic Coast. The southernmost tip of El Cocal borders where the Indian River meets the Ocean and then the Rivers flows parallel to el Cocal for 7 miles and then softly turns inland, where it becomes the largest part of EL COCAL. In the other side of the river bank, you will find the historic British town of Graytown that goes back in history to the British Almirant Nelson, before he was defeated by a Nicaraguan's lady with the same technique that he used to defeat Napoleon in the Trafalgar's battle. This town recently built an airport of 1,200 meters long with a brand new building for an international point of entry. The same airport provides services for hydroplanes and boats of the area.
